Ramy Fischler

Designer

A Belgian designer who graduated from the French ENSCI-Les Ateliers school of design in Paris, in 2010, Ramy Fischler was the recipient of an award from the French Academy in Rome. In 2011, he founded his own agency, RF Studio, and devoted himself to major projects (the headquarters of Twitter France, the restaurant-cafe at the National Gallery, the socially-conscious restaurant Reffetorio Madeleine in collaboration with the artist JR and the firm of architects Encore Heureux, a 5-star hotel on the Champs-Élysées, etc.) all the while developing his own artistic approach in parallel. In 2016, he received the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres award from the French Minister of Culture and Communication and was named designer of the year by Maison&Objet in 2018.

Crossover of thinking around wellbeing and design

By looking at the different spaces in the building and their purpose with new eyes, Ramy naturally incorporates the notion of wellbeing into his work and puts his experience at the heart of his thinking. He regards each place as an ecosystem playing host to diverse life forms - humans, plants - which changes with the elements - light, air. His projects, conducive to experience and emotions, foster collective intelligence.

With Marion Flipo, he is co-designing the different staff restaurant spaces.

With Grégory Dupont, he is examining the principle of a digital fitness space with programs which adapt to individual wishes.
